Power Capacity Upgrades and Downgrades.

Do you need to alter your power supply?

When electrical requirements change, companies can often find themselves with an over or under supply capacity situation. This can have numerous impacts – the most significant being unwanted financial implications.

Sparkz Electrical can work with businesses to fully understand what size power supply is required, and can then advise and implement an upgrade or downgrade to meet these needs.

We can help facilitate all aspects of capacity changes which may involve the adding or removal of supply cables and/or pipe work.

Single phase vs 3-phase.

Most residential homes have what is known as a ‘single phase’ connection supplying 230 volts, which is more than enough to power our day-to-day lives. Compare this to a major commercial operation with big machines operating 24/7, which may need a 3-phase connection supplying 415 volts.

“During the construction of some challenging retaining walls in Mount Roskill, we contacted Sparkz Electrical to come over on the site and advise us on how best we can safely work around the existing overhead power lines, whilst still maintaining power to the residents. Amit visited the site and provided us with a hassle and stress free solution in no time.

He was able to install a temporary power supply to the residents in short notice which enabled us to begin work safely with our large drilling rig and avoided any delay. Sparkz Electrical took away all the hassle and coordinated with both Vector & the residents directly making sure everyone is happy. Our issue was resolved in quick time and was cost effective as well.”
